Jaco Barkhuizen

After previous experience in supply chain and quality management, Jaco started at Maxweld and Braze in an inventory and import control position. He worked his way up to managing the procurement function, which includes the implementation of supply-chain risk analysis and ABC inventory management.

Sue Kaplan

Sue was previously a part owner of Magic Software, a software consultancy providing software support to clients from a range of different industries, including Maxweld and Braze. 

In 2008, Sue left Magic Software to join the Weldamax group as IT Manager. With her team, she is responsible for supporting the group IT infrastructure, WAN, ERP systems and all related IT applications and service providers.

Wayne Labuschagne

Wayne holds an N3 in Mechanical Engineering, and various in-house sales training certifications. He joined Unique Welding Boksburg as a Sales Executive in January 2010, and worked his way up to manager of national branch operations. 

Nico Milligan

Nico started as a sales representative, and worked his way through various branch manager positions. He was promoted to manage sales and customer service at Maxweld & Braze. His focus is to improve the quality of service provided to our national network of distributors.

Andries Taljaard

Andries started with Maxweld & Braze in 1994 in counter sales. After a series of promotions, he worked his way through various sales, warehousing and logistics functions to his current position looking after and growing key group accounts.

Thomas Taljaard

Thomas worked for Tec-Dur (Pty) Ltd (Swiss Electrode Manufacturing Plant) between 1990 and 2000. He operated in sales, stock and quality control. He joined Unique Welding at the end of 2000 as a Sales Executive, worked his way up to Branch Manager, and subsequently National Operations Manager. Now charged with the role of Business Development Manager, Thomas is responsible for the overall growth of the group’s targeted markets.
